Denny Kelderman - Feed Division Manager, Rock Valley (712) 451-6291Denny has been working at Farmers Elevator Cooperative since April 1975, starting out as outside sales labor, doing grain, feed, fertilizer, or whatever else was needed. He went to the school of "hardknocks' and still has not graduated. He has been married to Marsha (Koedam) for the last 38 years and they have 5 kids and 12 grandchildren. He lives north of Hull or east of Doon. Most know his love and passion to watch Nighthawk football and Comet basketball games. "Go Bears!"  Leanne Koehler - Swine Records / Closeouts, Rock Valley (712) 451-6288Leanne has worked at Farmers Elevator Cooperative since July 2002. She has worked with the Swine Team since she started. Leanne grew up in Rock Valley, but moved to California for about 15 years. She later decided there was no place like Northwest Iowa to raise her kids and returned home. She now resides in Rock Valley with her two kids.  Bruce Schafer - Swine Bus. Development, Rock Valley (712) 441-1246Bruce lives in the rural Boyden area. He attended SDSU as an Animal Science major. Bruce worked for Farmers Elevator for 15 years after college. Later, he joined Pig Improvement Company in swine genetic sales for 6 years. He ha been working for Land O' Lakes as a feed sales employee for Farmers Elevator Cooperative and CEA since February of 2012. Bruce has been married for 18 years to Julie and they have 4 kids, Courtney 16, Jacob 14, Chloe 10, and Levi 6. Bruce's hobbies include hunting, fishing, children's sporting activities, and summer water activities.  Jason Kooima - Beef Consultant, Rock Valley (712)Jason has worked in the elevator business since 1993. The most recent nine years have been with Farmers Elevator Cooperative. Jason is also in farming and feed cattle. He lives in Rock Valley with his wife Robbi and three kids. His hobbies are golfing, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.  Brent Meyer - Beef Consultant, Rock Valley Call LocationBrent has worked for Farmers Elevator Cooperative for nineteen years. He lives north of Hull with his wife Audrey and five kids.  Craig Metzger - Swine Specialist, Rock Valley Call LocationCraig is a swine consultant at Farmers Elevator Cooperative, specializing in wean to finish managment. He has been working at Farmers Elevator Cooperative for almost 19 years. Craig attended South Dakota State University and majored in Animal Science. He is married and has 4 energetic kids. Craig enjoys spending time with the family, hunting pheasants, gardening, canning, and raising puppies, lambs, and pigs.  Dan Mouw - Swine Specialist, Rock Valley Call LocationA graduate of Iowa State University, Dan has been with Farmers Elevator Cooperative since January 2010. Dan works with customers managing herd health, flow, and nutritional decisions. When he's not working, Dan enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. Dan and his family live in Sioux Center.  Dan De Boer - Swine Specialist, Rock Valley Call LocationDan has been employed with Farmers Elevator Cooperative since February 2012. He grew up southwest of Rock Valley and currently lives in Rock Valley. He has been involved with farming his whole life and currently runs his own 1,200 head hog finisher. Dan has 3 kids at home. His family enjoys golfing, fishing in the summer, and movies during the winter.  Joe Nilles - Beef Team Leader, Alvord (712) 470-4803Joe has been working in to coop system for over 22 years. He started working with Farmers Coop Exchange in Rock Rapids, IA in December of 1999. He came along in the merger with Farmers ELevator Cooperative in January of 2003. Joe was location manager for the first few years and then in June 2007 he went back to the country to do Feedlot and Cow/Calf Nutrition. His main office is in ALvord. Joe has three kids and resides in Sheldon, IA.  Dana Wilson - Swine Specialist, Inwood (605) 359-2210Dana started with the West Lyon Coop January 1, 1995 as a swine feed representative. When Farmers Elevator Cooperative and West Lyon merged, he became a sales rep. Dana works with different groups in the Farmers Elevator Cooperative system. He enjoys hunting and golfing with his kids and grandkids.  Jeff Kingma - Beef Consultant, Hudson / Hawarden (605) 359-7195Jeff grew up on a livestock and grain farm east of Hawarden. After high school, he obtained a Marketing Associates from South East Tech in Sioux Falls. He has been with Farmers Elevator Cooperative since 2008. Jeff is married with three kids and lives on a farm Northwest of Hawarden. |
